Within seconds I was whisking him over a nearby railing and onto safety. What a relief! Crowds cheered. Women threw underwear. Men slapped my back; an elderly woman baked me a cake and a man without legs suddenly found the inspiration to tap dance.
I have never really bought into the philosophy laid down by men that “it is impossible to figure women out”. For a start off, I wouldn’t really want to.
Friends tell me of the “rules” of dating. “Once you have arranged a date, don’t text them before the night”, “At the end of the night, let them know you had a good time but don’t let on whether or not you want to see them again”, “After you have been on the date, don’t text or call until two days after”. I just don’t get all this “advice”.
